Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Freight Broker located in Cincinnati, OH. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing freight brokerage activities, including coordinating with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring the timely delivery of freight. Responsibilities also include providing exceptional customer service, dispatching, and managing customer accounts. The Freight Broker will work closely with clients to solve logistics problems and maintain strong relationships.
Qualifications
- Freight Brokerage and Brokerage skills
- Experience in Customer Service and Account Management
- Dispatching skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and solve logistics problems efficiently
- Proficiency with relevant software and technology
- Previous experience in the freight or logistics industry is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
