Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, ensuring timely delivery of freight while adhering to all regulations. This role involves operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and tankers, and requires a focus on customer service as you interact with clients during deliveries.
Duties
Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and tankers, for the safe transportation of freight.
Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Experience
Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver is preferred.
Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Previous experience in freight handling is advantageous.
A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
Knowledge of safe driving practices and regulations in the trucking industry.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.

Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
