We are looking for a CDL A Truck Driver in the Tolland CT area to operator a dump truck transporting goods and materials to designated destinations.
CDL Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include operating dumb truck transporting construction material to and from job sites and assisting the construction crew when needed.
Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
Maintain accurate records of trips, including driver logs, mileage, and delivery receipts.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
As needed, assist with the loading and unloading of cargo and ensure the accurate counting and inspection of freight.
CDL Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications
Valid CDL A license
Clean driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations
5+ years of demonstrated commercial driving experience
Knowledge of and adherence to all federal and state transportation regulations.
