Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while driving various types of trucks, including flatbed, tanker, and tractor-trailer units. This role involves transporting freight to designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle operation.
Responsibilities
Operate trucks with manual transmission or automatic and various configurations, including flatbed and dry van trailers.
Safely transport freight to assigned destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
Load and unload cargo using forklifts or roll-off trucks as required.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards at all times.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for truck driving.
Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with flatbed, tanker, or tractor-trailer vehicles.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles proficiently.
Familiarity with freight handling procedures and equipment such as forklifts.
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transportation and delivery.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as per company policy.

Pay: $1,350.00 – $2,000.00 per week
