Tri-State Pallet is currently seeking experienced and reliable CDL drivers to join our transportation and logistics team. Our company specializes in palletized freight movement and operates throughout the Tri-State region, providing efficient and reliable delivery services to businesses of all sizes.
Responsibilities:
– Operate and maintain company-owned tractor/trailer units in a safe and efficient manner.
– Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including pre-trip inspections, weight limits, and Hours of Service requirements.
– Transport palletized freight and ensure timely and accurate delivery to clients.
– Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of delivery transactions and log hours of service.
– Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Valid CDL license with at least 2 years of experience operating commercial vehicles.
– Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug test.
– Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Ability to work primary hours Monday through Friday 7:00 am. to 5 p.m. Ocassionally might have to start early or run a little late.
