NOW HIRING – 1099 Independent Contractor Drivers Home Every Day | Container Transportation | Tampa, FL
Hop and Skip LLC is looking to hire dependable Class A CDL drivers for local container transportation in the Tampa/Winter Haven area. If you are reliable, hardworking, and want steady work with a company that values its drivers, we’d like to hear from you.
Position Overview
- Home every day
- Work as an independent contractor on a 1099-NEC basis — we do not take taxes out of your pay
- Part-time to start, with the opportunity to grow into full-time
- Weekends optional
- Flexible schedule
- Local drayage — Tampa/Winter Haven
Compensation & Benefits
- Paid per load
- Amazon loads: paid by percentage
- Inspection bonus
- Direct communication with dispatch
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- TWIC card required
- Current DOT medical card
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Drayage and intermodal experience preferred
- Amazon relay/freight experience preferred
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Tampa, FL
- Must be able to respond promptly to dispatch instructions
- Self-sufficient and able to work with minimal supervision
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test — drug-free workplace
