Carrier Sales AssociatePOSITION DESCRIPTION:Position Title:Carrier Sales AssociateSUMMARY OF POSITION:This is a full-time position based out of the corporate office of Bay & Bay Transportation, located in Eagan, MN. As a Carrier Sales Associate you will work with trucking company owners, dispatchers and drivers (known as carriers) to build relationships and successfully deliver shipments for customers in the United States with a high level of service and attention. This role combines sales, & supply chain planning by ensuring that freight is picked up, transported, and delivered on time.Job Responsibilities include:· Sourcing carrier capacity· Carrier sales negotiations· Carrier Relationship Development· Provide and maintain high service solutions for customers (TSS)· Load document management· Build and maintain carrier capacity network· Tracking and Tracing of shipments· Comply with carrier screening and compliance policies· Carrier Issue ResolutionRequirements:College degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Economics, or equivalent work experience (preferred).Strong computer skills, and a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong negotiation skills; the tenacity to persuade & influence.Competitive attitude & innovative nature.Experience in the transportation/logistics industry is beneficial, but not required.Highly motivated, with a strong desire to resolve issues & provide a high-quality customer experience.Desire to work in a high energy, dynamic environment.Job Type: Full-timePay: $44,000.00 – $45,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceCompensation Package:Performance bonusWork Location: In person
