We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Cargo Transit Driver to join our logistics team. Duties
- Operate cargo transit express van, following designated routes such as over-the-road (OTR) driving routes.
- Safely load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo, freight and material.
- Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes, avoid delays, and ensure punctual deliveries across multiple locations.
- Transport automobile transportation units securely from origin to destination while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks, and cargo to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving, route driving, and freight transportation.
- Knowledge DOT standards, and safety protocols for manual handling of cargo
- Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for load & unload operations.
- Excellent navigation skills using GPS navigation systems to follow designated routes efficiently.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight manually when necessary; must meet physical requirements for truck loading and unloading tasks.
- Commitment to safe driving practices in compliance with all federal and state transportation laws.

Pay: $500.00 – $1,000.00 per week
