Customer Service Associate / Freight Broker Jobs in Tonawanda, NY at Productive Transportation Inc.
Productive Transportation Inc. has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Associate / Freight Broker. Ideal candidate will be highly motivated, energetic, outgoing, and will possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Must have excellent verbal communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Transportation, Logistics and/or inside sales experience desired but not necessary. Four year degree preferred but not necessary.
Daily tasks include but not limited to the following:
1. Receiving inbound phone calls/emails from customers and carriers.
2. Making outbound phone calls/emails to customers and carriers.
3. Scheduling appointments via TMS programs, web portals, email, and phone.
4. Rate negotiation with carriers.
5. Tracking and tracing shipments / obtaining proof of delivery for orders.
6. Bill of lading processing.
7. Collaboration with outside account representatives to meet and exceed customer requirements.
