We are hiring Cargo Agents to our new cargo project “Egypt Cargo Center – ECC”.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify the condition of incoming cargo upon receipt to ensure compliance with acceptance standards, including regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Supervise and assist in the efficient loading, unloading, sorting, and build-up/break-down of cargo, with attention to proper handling of perishables, fresh produce, hazardous materials, and special cargo (e.g., valuables, perishables).
  • Stay updated on general and special cargo acceptance requirements and apply them during cargo intake and processing.
  • Prepare and organize shipment documents such as Air Waybills (AWBs), customs declarations, and inventory logs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with airline and regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately enter cargo details into the warehouse or cargo management systems to support inventory tracking, shipment coordination, and operational planning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and dangerous goods regulations, bonded warehouse procedures, customs regulations, and airline-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, ramp, and logistics teams for smooth cargo loading, unloading, and movement, while monitoring shipment tracking and status updates.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, in accordance with health, safety, and operational standards.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to freight forwarders, customs brokers, and airline representatives; liaise with customs and regulatory bodies for inspections and clearances.
  • Participate in training on cargo handling techniques, bonded warehouse operations, and safety practices; work closely with supervisors to develop skills and contribute to daily operations.
  • Offer operational support during peak periods, such as inspections, tight deadlines, or high-volume cargo processing, to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
  • Maintain records of cargo movement, discrepancies, and operational irregularities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, logistics or a relative field.
  • Fresh graduates are preferred.
