Job Overview
Seeking a motivated and results-driven Asset-Based Trucking Sales Rep to expand our freight customer base.
Responsibilities
In this role, the candidate thrives in a freight sales atmosphere; from identifying a lead, to pursuing and securing the business, has industry knowledge and experience to understand the balance and demand of asset utilization and market pricing volatility. This role does include commission depending on book of business and metrics.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in transportation management, logistics sales, or freight brokerage within a logistics company environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, shipping logistics, transportation planning, and customer relationship management (CRM).
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and data entry processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful B2B sales negotiations.
- Ability to build lasting client relationships through effective communication and customer service skills.
- Understanding of international trade regulations, FDA regulations (if applicable), trade compliance, and freight forwarding logistics is a plus.
- Prior experience in carrier sales or freight sales roles is highly desirable.
