About the job

As an Air Freight Operations Executive, you will be responsible for the timely execution of transportation services, from the preparation of quotations to the final delivery of goods.

You will coordinate both pricing and operational activities, ensuring a smooth execution of shipments and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue transport quotations based on rates from carriers and partners

• Communicate with carriers and international partners to obtain competitive rates and service options

• Maintain communication with customers after sending quotations to support conversion into confirmed shipments

• Ensure quotations align with company pricing policy and profit margins

• Manage bookings, documentation, and coordination of shipments once pricing is approved

• Coordinate suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely pickup, loading, and delivery

• Prepare and manage all relevant shipping documents (e.g., AWB, commercial invoices, customs documentation)

• Record and maintain accurate shipment and quotation data in relevant systems

• Monitor shipments and promptly manage delays, issues, or customer concerns

• Maintain close communication with customers throughout the shipment process

• Act as a single point of contact for customers from quotation to final delivery

• Identify opportunities for operational or pricing improvements

• Collaborate with internal teams to align processes and service standards

Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Shipping, Logistics, or International Transportation

• Fluency in English (oral and written); additional languages will be considered a plus

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the forwarding industry

• Strong customer management and coordination skills

• Analytical thinking and basic financial understanding for preparing quotations

• Knowledge of international procedures and customs processes

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and sense of responsibility
