Box Loader/Unloader – West Jordan, UT (Weekend Shift)
Freight Breakers LLC is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Box Loaders/Unloaders in West Jordan. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and are motivated by performance-based pay.
Job
In this position, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate movement of freight, ensuring trailers are loaded and unloaded safely and productively.
Loading Responsibilities
- Hand-load boxes from a conveyor onto trailers (floor loading)
- Scan packages into trailers using handheld scanners
- Transport cages to and from staging areas
- Maintain organized, secure, and efficient loading practices
Unloading Responsibilities
- Unload boxes from floor-loaded trailers onto a conveyor system
- Scan and sort packages into designated cages
- Work quickly while maintaining accuracy and safety standards
Compensation
- Paid per trailer / per case loaded or unloaded
- Average earnings: $16–$25 per hour
- Top performers may earn $25–$35 per hour
- Higher productivity directly increases earning potential
Schedule
- Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 12-hour shifts
- Additional weekday work may be available as needed
Requirements
- Strong attendance and punctuality are required
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to lift and carry 5–50 lbs consistently
- Capable of sustained physical work for extended periods
- Reliable transportation is required
