What you’ll be doing
Handle the local business qualification registration and certification work in Malaysia.
Handle the import and export of goods, arrange the transportation, customs declaration, customs clearance, logistics tracking, forwarding and shipping arrangements, timeliness follow-up, order synchronization,and etc.
Timely respond to the order collection and delivery requirements of colleagues in China, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of documents (such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.)
Optimize import and export logistics suppliers, control freight costs, etc.
Regularly inventory the goods, maintain import and export ledgers, submit import and export business reports, record and archive relevant documents
Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
What we’re looking for
Proven track record of success as a logistics specialist or equivalent role within the import/export and customs industry
Excellent understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures and supply chain management
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to develop and implement effective business strategies
Proficient in data analysis, reporting and using technology to drive operational excellence
Fluency in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Relevant degree or professional qualification in a related field
