Yard hand Job Details
Basic Salary: £28k to £30k
License: HGV Class 1 or 2
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday: 08:00-17:30

Roles and responsibilities of a Yard hand:
-Taking HGV Vehicle’s for MOT.
-Maintaining the yard Area
– Keeping yard cleanliness
– Shunting in the yard
– Cleaning company vehicle’s
When driver is off assistance with C&D deliveries
Skills and Qualifications
of a Yard hand:
– Valid class 1 or 2 driving licence, enabling safe operation of vehicles within the yard.
– Previous experience in a driving position essential, demonstrating an ability to engage positively with clients.
– Strong organisational skills with
attention to detail
, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently
