Position: Yard Operative / Load Shovel Driver
THE ROLE
We are currently supporting our client in recruiting for Load Shovel Driver / Yard operative to join their team. You will be responsible for safely driving wheeled or tracked loading shovels to scoop, move, and load heavy bulk materials. Our client located on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.
Own Transport is required due to location
Duties
- Load shovel experience: safely driving wheeled or tracked loading shovels to scoop, move, and load heavy bulk materials.
- Dependable and have a reliable mode of transport to commute to work
- Able to operate in a sometimes-pressurised environment working to deadlines
- Ensure that housekeeping standards are achieved and maintained at all times.
- Always maintain effective and appropriate communication with your colleagues.
- Comfortable with lifting a maximum of 25kg.
Skills
- Load Shovel experience is required.
- Previous experience with manual handling.
- Strong communication
- Dependable and have a reliable mode of transport to commute to work
- Teamwork
Week 1: 10am-6pm
Week 2: 6:30am-2:30pm
Hourly Rate of pay £13.50
