Yard Dog Driver Jobs in West Mansfield, OH at Weaver Bros. Inc.
We are actively seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our processing team in West Mansfield, Oh as a Yard Jockey/Freight Handler. This position is responsible for safely shuttling full and empty trailers to and from various loading dock doors and supporting warehouse operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for safely shuttling full and empty trailers to and from various loading dock doors
Follow USDA and FDA regulations
Perform dock work at times when yard work is complete
Efficiently and accurately stage trailers for loading and transport while ensuring proper temperature control
Performs safety checks and inspections
Complete paperwork such as customer orders, BOL and SOP
Load/Unload trucks, stage product and move goods throughout facilities with care
Secure shipments to prevent shifting and ensuring the safety of goods during transportation
Fuel trailers as needed
Communicate with other departments
Assist in other areas as needed and performing duties as assigned
Skills Required:
Ability to read, write and speak English
Basic math skills
Time Management
Communication
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in refrigerated environment, temperatures of 36°to 40° for duration of shift
Must be able to work outdoors
Move items manually or by using equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks and rider pallet jacks.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout shift
Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
