Recruiting for a Workshop Supervisor to join our fantastic team in Rotherham (S60 2XL
) to oversee the running of the 4 on 4 off day shift pattern.

* The Workshop Supervisor Role
– To assist the Service Manager in liaising between service reception and the workshop on repair.
– To ensure that the right technician has been allocated the right job.
– To control and monitor the progress of the repair / service through to completion.
– Ensure high levels of quality are maintained on all work produced by the service department.
– Ensure that all service paperwork is completed to a high standard.
– To maintain excellent
customer satisfaction
and MOT standards.
The successful candidate would be responsible for ensuring internal and external
customer satisfaction
, ensuring that individual technician performance is optimised, and work is progressed through the workshop in an efficient manner with the aim of first time fix every time.
Requirements
– Qualifications required City & Guilds part 1 & 2 / BTEC / IMI (or equivalent) in motor
vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
– Commercial experience within a workshop environment (or similar environment).
– HGV Licence advantageous but not essential.
– Able to work on own initiative.
– Extremely well organised.
– Able to prioritise effectively.
– Computer skills advantageous.
– Able to problem solve.
– A good communicator.
