Wire Rope Sling Fabricator Jobs in North Charleston, SC at Lift Solutions Holdings
You will be responsible for the workflow, fabrication, testing and quality control of our company product, serving a working Team Lead. It is essential that you understand the safety expectations and meet the delivery requirements with a customer first mentality, strong work ethic and high level of integrity. The Wire Rope Sling Fabricator will also be responsible for receiving and storing inventory and properly shipping customer orders accurately and required to maintain and organize shop inventory. Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment and requires the use of safety equipment, eye safety glasses, and steel toe work boots.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manufacturing/Production of wire rope & chain slings
Utilizing hydraulic machinery (presses, reeling machine, pull test machine)
Forklift Operation
Satisfactorily preparing materials for shipment (prepping freight shipments)
Loading/offloading trucks
Keeping an organized/safe work area
Restocking materials in the warehouse
Assisting with annual Inventory
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to be on feet for extend periods of time
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
High school or equivalent
Driver’s license, preferred
Experience:
3-5 years experience in Wire Rope Sling Fabrication, preferred.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
Ability to be certified to operate a forklift.
Attention to detail with the ability to direct work and meet customer deadlines.
Communication Skills:
Basic reading, writing, arithmetic and communication skills required.
