Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and order pickers to move products safely and efficiently.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
Maintain organized stock levels and ensure proper storage of materials according to OSHA regulations.
Fabricate or assemble products as needed, adhering to quality standards.
Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized, following safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with inventory control systems and shipping/receiving processes is advantageous.
Mechanical knowledge to operate various warehouse machinery safely.
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks performed.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is a plus.
A positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
