This is an important functional leadership role within the Hygrade business and has accountability for the outwards goods activities and the team’s day-to-day performance.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate planning for Inbound activities, priorities, and people requirements, via weekly briefings and daily updates.
Plan the inwards flow with the Supply Chain team and Internal Sales.
Ensure outward goods operate in line with business targets and expectations.
Ensure Documentation is complete and accurate to accompany the freight (incl. weights, measures, DG or special requirements) and that all appropriate labelling is securely attached.
Report completions and exceptions, and cross-check that all dispatches have been updated in the ERP system (to invoice status).
Assist with planned cyclic and full stock take counts, ensuring stock presentation and product identification is always maintained.
