Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Stand Up Forklift Operator in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly
Hourly Pay: $19.25 per hour
Additional Pay: $0.75 per hour when assigned to second shift
Pay increase: $0.75 after 6 months of employment, $1 increase after a year
Schedule:
Sunday-Tuesday 4pm-4am, Wednesdays are 6 hour shifts alternating every two weeks – 4pm-10pm and 10pm-4am

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships
Highly thorough and dependable
Must be punctual and have a good attendance record
Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Must be available to work on a flexible schedule
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks
Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during production hours
Perform other duties as assigned.
