The Bus Center in Pelham, Alabama is currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team. Qualified candidate must be strong, energetic, self-motivated individual. UPS, warehouse and/or freight line experience is a plus!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Warehouse:
- Load and unload delivery freight – requires physical moving/lifting of product weighing as much as 75 pounds.
- Designate and organize the product stock by product line and by warehouse alignment that allows sufficient space for inventory.
- Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, old inventory, over and shortages of inventory, and return of products to vendors, etc.
- Prioritize and select inventory to fill orders and stage product of unloading/loading.
- Operate forklift.
- Assists in the inventory validation of incoming shipments from vendors or other warehouse/stores with accuracy as well as assist in periodic inventory counts.
- Participate and play a part of the team role and perform facility responsibilities to include custodial/housekeeping tasks and cleaning.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Shipping orders daily
- Invoicing customers
- Daily reporting
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency Certificate, or GED
- One (1) to two (2) years’ warehouse or freight line experience
- Trained forklift driver
- Valid driver license
- Clean driving record
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Knowledge of CDK a plus!
- Time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to resolve issues in a calm and efficient manner
- Quick learner and enjoys the challenge of taking on new assignments
- Willingness to be a team player
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
