Yoke Group, LLC, dba Yoke Transport, is a rapidly growing trucking carrier and brokerage specializing in the live entertainment space. We move 10,000+ loads annually and have warehouse operations in both Nashville, TN and Las Vegas, NV. We have offices in Nashville, Philadelphia, and Miami.
JOB OVERVIEW
Yoke is looking for a qualified warehouse manager to oversee operations at our Las Vegas location. This person will be responsible for keeping the warehouse moving at an efficient and organized pace while ensuring the safety of employees and any equipment moved through our property. Our warehouse is 40,000 square feet and has 170 trailer parking spots. The ideal candidate will have experience with many aspects of the trucking and entertainment industries, and have a strong leadership mentality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Oversee day-to-day operations in a large-scale warehouse setting
● Load and offload trucks both manually and with forklifts or similar equipment
● Supervise teams of labor who maintain and store various types of freight
● Marshall and monitor trucks in our truck parking lot
● Efficiently maintain a busy loading/offloading schedule
● Continuously monitor for safety concerns, risk, and areas of improvement
● Develop strong working relationships with partners and clients
● Maintain records of warehouse operations: load tracking, inventory, invoice management, etc.
● Communicate well with and work effectively alongside partner companies working in the same space
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
● At least 3 years of management experience
● Strong organization and communication skills
● Creative approaches to problem solving
● Experienced forklift operator
● Intense attention to detail
*This is an in-person role with 5 days weekly required at our Las Vegas, NV location*
*Role will require 5-6 working weekends annually*
