Warehouse Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, ordering, and distribution operations.
- Implement operational policies and procedures.
- Manage and oversee warehouse security operations.
- Ensure safe and efficient use of warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Hire, train, motivate, direct, and discipline warehouse employees.
- Maintain documentation and accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and maximize productivity.
- Delegate responsibilities efficiently.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support company operations.
Requirements & Skills
- 2+ years of warehouse management experience.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures and delegation skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and inventory control processes.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to operate a forklift effectively.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness and aptitude to learn.
- Ability to work extended hours when required.
