Title: Warehouse Manager

- Oversee the full operation and fiscal activities of the terminal including but not limited to, staffing, financial goals and budget.
- Plan, implement and oversee the full operation of staff members to ensure efficiency and compliance with organizational requirements and company procedures.
- Document and analyze business processes and problems while developing solutions to enhance efficiencies.
- Coaching and development of staff
- Schedule and conduct safety meetings with employees.
- Communicate and partner with Senior Management regarding terminal operations.
- Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance review.
- Schedule, monitor and complete preventative maintenance as required for all vehicles assigned to the terminal.
- Responsible for staff scheduling to include employee training, vacations, breaks, overtime assignment, shift rotations, back-up for absent employee and work assignments/rotations.
- Ensure the local team is providing excellent customer service by phone and email each day.
- Responsible for evaluating driver reported accidents/breakdowns and going through
- protocols, communicate with the Safety Manager to authorize proper solutions as
- needed.
- Actively support to Safety Process geared to reduce driver preventable accidents and
- Injuries. Communicate and promote a safe working environment. Completions of Supervisor safety and incident reports.
Required Credentials:
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree; 3+ years of transportation or terminal manager experience overseeing a multi-department team.
- Experience in LTL Sales/Operations
- Technology: Excellent Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
