Your new company
Experts in providing logistics solutions for online business, this international organisation focusses on the end-to-end e-commerce process, including receiving, storage, distribution, inventory management and customer support. As a result of strong growth, they have recently set up shop in Melbourne’s north-west and are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to drive their operation forward.
Your new role
Reporting to the COO, your focus will be around increasing service levels through maintaining and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Management of all inbound and outbound processes
Maximising staff and systems efficiencies
Driving operational improvement through implementing new policies and procedures
Management of inventory and quality assurance
Assist with the setup of a brand-new site
Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
Driving a positive workplace culture
Regular meetings with the senior management team to discuss any upcoming operational requirements
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a proven Warehouse Manager with a history of running your own operation, with a particular focus on service rather than costs. Additionally, you’ll have:
A strong willingness to drive operational efficiencies
An understanding of service improvements
Experience in implementing new processes in a warehousing environment
An open mind to allow a change of direction in business plans when needed
Agility and flexibility around implementing new processes
WMS experience
Experience in supervising or managing a warehousing team
A strong drive to grow within a business in the long-term
