Responsibilities
Monitor and control warehouse inventory
Coordinate incoming and outgoing inventory deliveries
Assign delivery / pick-up stations
Oversee and assist with loading and unloading of deliveries
Assist with establishing procedures and documentation requirement for inventory management
Update and maintain storage database
Track and manage inventory by completing monthly inventory stock take
Provide regular inventory reports to Management
Ensure proper packaging, labelling of shipments and shipping counts match order documents
Process and provide necessary paperwork for shipments
Adhere to all safety standards and operating procedures
Develop and implement procurement plans
Issue purchase orders and manage the procurement cycle
Ensure procurement activities comply with industry standard / company policies and procedures
Implement best practices to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the support team
Establish supplier performance review process
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing solutions and improvements
Requirements
Diploma in Warehousing / Logistics Management
With Inventory Control experience
Knowledge in MS Word, Excel
Good teamwork, planning and communication skills
