Ryder is immediately hiring for Permanent Full-Time Stand-Up Forklift Operators in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:
Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
Overtime Pay: $31.50 per hour
Shift Premium: $1.00 when working second shift
Schedule:
Second Shift Monday – Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
Valid Forklift Operator’s License
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
Dependable and thorough
Punctual with good attendance
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High initiative and accuracy under pressure
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods
Adherence to health and safety methods
Flexible schedule for various shifts
Detail-oriented with good follow-up skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
Follow performance measurement guidelines of the contract
Accurately pick, pack, audit, induce totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks
Manage warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
Perform other duties as assigned
