Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Warehouse – Kent, WA
Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Position Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting successful events, systems projects, and retail operations by overseeing the preparation, organization, and flow of gear throughout BLS’s warehouse. This role manages crew activity, ensures inventory accuracy, and supports safe and efficient gear handling across departments. The Warehouse Coordinator works closely with the Event Services Manager, Crew Leads, and internal teams to ensure all equipment leaves the warehouse in show-ready condition and returns safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Coordination & Logistics
Oversee shipping and receiving including freight vendor management and communication of updates to internal teams
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including gear pulls, staging, loading, check-ins, and restocking
Manage gear preparation and packing workflows based on pull sheets generated in Current RMS
Ensure equipment is clean, tested, properly labeled, and packed securely for events, installations, and retail orders
Coordinate schedules with Crew Leads, Project Managers, and drivers to align outbound and return logistics
Crew Supervision & Communication
Supervise warehouse staff and temporary crew, delegating tasks and monitoring workflow
Train new team members on safety protocols, equipment handling, and warehouse systems
Maintain warehouse task boards and documentation to support daily accountability
Communicate with the Event Services Manager and internal stakeholders to prioritize workload and address issues
Inventory & Equipment Oversight
Conduct cycle counts and spot audits to maintain inventory accuracy in Current RMS
Track damaged, missing, or high-turnover gear and report needs for maintenance or restock
Support gear maintenance workflows including lamp replacements, basic testing, and cleaning
Monitor consumables and hardware levels for restocking
Warehouse Organization & Safety
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment across all warehouse zones
Enforce warehouse safety standards and procedures for lifting, loading, and general operations
Report incidents or facility issues promptly and assist in layout planning or improvements
Qualifications
Required
3+ years experience in warehouse, logistics, or production environments
Prior experience supervising warehouse or operations staff
Familiarity with lighting, audio, video, rigging, and power distribution systems
Experience with tools like Current RMS, Microsoft 365, and collaborative task systems
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physical, fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience handling audiovisual gear in a warehouse setting
Ability to interpret AVL gear lists and prep documentation
Familiarity with event, retail, and systems integration workflows
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
Experience with ADP Scheduling or similar shift planning tools

Compensation & Benefits
