Job Summary
Responsible for receiving and managing all non-finished goods in the warehouse and manufacturing facility. Ensure that all inventories are stored efficiently to support the production environment.
Education and Experience
Minimum of a high school diploma.
At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
Summary of Essential Job FunctionsPersonnel
Monitor associates for accurate inventory of ground materials and input data into the inventory management system (IQMS).
Prepare Material Handlers with raw materials required for assembly according to the production schedule.
Direct Material Handlers to adhere to company procedures regarding all production materials.
Report personnel issues to the respective Shift Supervisor and Production Manager.
Manage and direct Warehouse Assistants.
Quality
Ensure all raw materials (CM, PK, PL) are received and accurately accounted for in the IQMS inventory.
Safely store raw materials to protect their integrity.
Monitor all inbound shipments and ensure proper delivery to the appropriate department.
Modify the allocation of storage space for items as needs change.
Verify inventory quantities through cycle counting to maintain IQMS accuracy.
Cost Control
Collaborate with production daily.
Coordinate with the Production Control and Warehouse Manager on space limitations and product availability.
Actively participate in the inventory team to address accuracy issues and manage slow-moving inventory.
Monitor the quality and quantity of regrind from grinders, reporting any issues to Shift Supervisors and the Production Manager.
