Warm Your Floor is looking for a full-time employee for our warehouse position. We are a small growing company and the perfect place for the right individual that wants to turn their job into a career. Our warehouse position offers the perfect opportunity to learn our products first hand and be able to move into customer service or sales.
While warehouse experience is a plus, we can fully train someone with basic computer skills who can learn fast and is committed to growing with our company. Self-motivated and attention to detail is KEY.
Full Time permanent position Mon – Fri, 8:00 – 5, in Lake Forest near Bake Pkwy , 405 – 5 Fwys
As our warehouse associate, a typical day consists of the following:
· Receiving, stocking, cycle counting, and shipping orders accurately (light packages- most between 5-20 lbs)
· Process and maintain records of all returns accurately. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
· Work with customer service and purchasing to eliminate stock shortages
· Coordinate freight pickups with Vendors
· Maintenance and organization of warehouse (Basic housekeeping, sweeping, empty trash, etc.)
· Cross train and assist other departments
· Basic assembly projects (assembling office furniture, rearranging racks, building displays, etc.

Requirements for this position include :
· Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, generally an entire shift (8+ hours per day)
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and walk throughout a shift.
· Good customer service skills to help during busy times
- Answer phone professionally
- Provide answers to customer questions
- Assist with order placement
- Take accurate & detailed messages for others as needed
· Must pass drug test & background check and have verifiable employment
