Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklift
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
Build and assemble orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
Maintain organization within the warehouse by properly storing products and managing stock levels.
Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing order fulfillment.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures.
Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies.
Skills
Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is essential.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
