About the Role
Turtle is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of products to meet company standards of accuracy, attention to detail, sanitation, safety, security, and productivity.
What You’ll Do
Count all products, compare to packing slips/Warehouse Management System (WMS), and check shipments for damage, correct quantity, part number accuracy, and expiration dates.
Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms. Sign for inbound shipments when necessary.
Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations. Stack and store merchandise efficiently in pallets, static, cantilever, yard, and wire storage areas/racks.
Ensure correct product selection in WMS. Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment. Bag, tag, or mark orders as required.
Verify quantity, labeling, and address with orders to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct in WMS. Accept signatures for outbound shipments as necessary. Move products into trailers, trucks, vans, cars, or containers efficiently.
Maintain all equipment in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently, complying with OSHA and company standards.
Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. Conduct aisle assessments and assignments.
Perform additional duties such as repacking, re-boxing, repairing, and recouping damaged goods. Operate shrink-wrap machines. Charge forklift batteries, repair pallets, clean work areas, and handle snow removal as needed.
