The Warehouse & Yard Store Person will support daily warehouse, logistics, and supply chain operations. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, handling, inventory control, loading/unloading, freight processing, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading goods.
- Receiving, storing, handling, and dispatching inventory.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control.
- Conducting cycle counts and investigating stock discrepancies.
- Processing freight and coordinating transport activities.
- Using warehouse management systems and ERP tools.
- Ensuring compliance with warehousing, transport, and shipping regulations.
- Managing dangerous and hazardous goods records.
- Following Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
- Adhering to workplace health, safety, and zero-harm policies.
Mandatory Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain, transport, mining, or oil & gas industries.
- LF Forklift Licence.
- C Class Driver’s Licence
- Experience with inventory control and stock management
- Computer literacy and MS Office skills
- ERP/Warehouse Management System experience (SAP preferred)
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
