Frank’s Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental . We are currently seeking a qualified SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK for our Hobbs, NM location.
OBJECTIVE:
This position assists the entire organization by insuring accurate inventory, timely shipments, and well maintained showrooms insuring customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain records of all incoming shipments, checking shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Assures merchandise is stored in the proper area of the warehouse
- Pull merchandise for customer will call and store transfers completing all associated paperwork
- Loading and/or unloading freight trucks and properly staging merchandise for receiving
- Loading customer merchandise
- Coordinate with inside sales stocking of the showroom
- General housekeeping as needed in the warehouse and showroom
- Adhere to all governmental, company and equipment related safety requirements
Qualified applicants will have:
- Good reading, comprehension, and math skills
- Good customer service and communication skills
- The ability to consistantly lift packages up to 50 pounds
- The required skills to demonstrate proficient use of all job support tools
- The ability to operate forklifts, hand trucks and material handling equipment
