Vice President of Marketing

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for leading, developing and executing marketing strategies and activations for Hallett Sports and Entertainment to include but not limited to the Indy Fuel, Fishers Freight, Bloomington Bison, the Fuel Tank and more. From digital platforms and experiential activations to consumer products and campaign storytelling, you’ll lead the development and execution of a brand strategy that elevates the teams’ presence in the market, deepens connection with fans, fuels annual business growth, and drives creative, engaging and new opportunities to strengthen our position and stand out.

Requirements & Essential Functions:

Responsible for creating and implementing all marketing campaigns, including advertising, public relations, and promotional events.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media, arena management, staff, and team sponsors.

Lead and implement content for the team’s official website and social media channels.

Work with key stakeholders, such as outside consultants, on the permanent naming and brand/logo development process for the team.

Work with merchandise department to promote online merchandise sales.

Work with game operations to ensure in-game marketing and promotional script.

Manage marketing budget of Est. $1 million.

Identify local and national trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.

Work closely with the sponsorship sales team to help manage and implement partnerships, and to ensure that fulfillment and execution of all contractual elements.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in brand marketing or a related field, ideally in sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brands.

Deep understanding of brand-building, storytelling, and fan engagement strategies.

Strong knowledge of paid digital marketing (social, PPC, display, etc.)

Strong leadership skills with experience managing creative projects and cross-functional collaboration.

Exceptional visual and verbal storytelling abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Familiarity with digital, social, and emerging platforms that enhance fan engagement.

Experience working with community engagement or partnerships teams is a plus.
