Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Laverton North, VIC for a Victoria Linehaul Manager. The Victoria Linehaul Manager will oversee the daily operations of linehaul services, ensuring timely and efficient transport of freight. Responsibilities will include route planning, scheduling, coordinating driver assignments, monitoring vehicle maintenance, and liaising with clients to ensure service excellence. The role also involves leading a team, maintaining compliance with transport regulations, and continually identifying areas for operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience with route planning, scheduling, and transport logistics
- Team leadership skills, including the ability to manage driver assignments and oversee performance
- Knowledge of transport regulations, compliance requirements, and applying safety standards
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement operational improvements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, drivers, and team members
- Proficiency in logistics-related software and tools
- Previous experience in linehaul or freight management preferred
- Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are an advantage
