National Express are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Allocator, based at our Acocks Green Garage on a part time basis. The successful candidate will complete the allocation of correct Buses to Running Boards prior to public service.
Part Time
– Saturday and Sunday
What you’ll do:
Full Knowledge of Vehicle types held at the garage
Recognise the Importance of `Right bus – Right Route’
Communication
between Operations and Engineering departments essential
Act as a liaison between Operations and Engineering to ensure the correct buses are allocated to
Liaise with engineering Supervisor regarding buses under repair
Assist in vehicle changeovers
Reduce Engineering and Operations lost mileage where possible
What you’ll need:
Full PCV license – as driving on the road will be required
Knowledge of the bus Industry an advantage
Good general standard of
Education
Self motivated and able to work without supervision
Be computer literate
Have a
problem solving
attitude
Be able to work towards and meet strict deadlines
