Job description
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the logistics industry
– Maintain current clients, generate leads and attract new prospects and develop a sales pipeline.
– Identify and secure new business opportunities through effective sales techniques
– Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing for customers
– Coordinate and manage transportation services, including scheduling, tracking, and resolving any issues that may arise
– Utilize transportation management systems to optimize freight movement and improve efficiency
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any customer concerns
– Perform data entry tasks to accurately record shipment details and maintain documentation
Requirements:
– Proven experience in logistics sales or a related field
– Strong sales skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
– Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
– Experience in transportation planning and routing is preferred

Pay: $36,206.99 – $260,303.04 per year
