Manual Unloaders/Material Handlers to provide contract-based warehouse support services. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity ideal for a safety-conscious professional with experience in warehouse logistics. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within the warehouse environment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that operations run smoothly and that products are prepared for shipping and receiving.
Compensation: Approx. $19/hour depending on productivity | Paid weekly via 1099
Responsibilities
- Load/Unload and break down freight onto good wood pallets
- Sort and organize freight by PO# and SKU#
- May include sorting, repacking and labeling
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Maintain proper safety procedures and operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution is preferred.
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $150.00 – $180.00 per day
