We are looking to fill a client's need for a Truckload Operations Manager that will oversee the customer operations, carrier sales teams, and full shipment lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for service issues, disruptions, and carrier concerns
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and leadership
  • Support SOP development, workflow improvements, and process standardization
  • Manage daily truckload operations and shipment lifecycle from start to finish
  • Lead, coach, and develop Customer Operations and Carrier Sales representatives
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and training sessions
  • Provide strategic and high service level support to customer accounts
  • Support pricing, spot quotes, and bids to provide profitable solutions
  • Analyze market conditions, trade lanes, and pricing to remain competitive
  • Report team KPI metrics regularly

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in 3pl brokerage Operations and Carrier Sales/Procurement
  • 2+ years of Operations Management experience
  • Proven ability to develop processes, standardization, and improve workflow
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred

Base salary: $90,000 – $110,000 (based on experience) + bonuses

Location: Must be in office daily in Oak Brook, IL (required)
