Trucking Dispatcher- First Shift Monday- Friday Jobs in Plymouth, WI at Cedar Grove Warehouse
Position Description: Class A CDL Truck Dispatcher that ensures CGW driver schedules and hours of service adhered to in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and DOT regulations. Drive an efficient transportation network. Support others to meet urgent delivery requests. This is a new role at Cedar Grove Warehouse. This position will have high growth potential as this department grows.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide drivers with loading, unloading schedules in a timely fashion
- Applies knowledge of service areas to dispatch sufficient trucks to ensure delivery schedules are met
- Utilizes delivery software, programs, internet, and email applications to ensure proper delivery scheduling
- Inform customers of their service status according to delivery schedules as needed
- Schedule drivers and products for required loads to be dropped off customers
- Managing drivers Fed Meds and DOT requirements in Eroads
- Managing New drivers and Terms in Eroads
- Communicate with management, sales, drivers, and customers on any issues with deliveries
- Reviews documentation submitted by drivers each day to ensure pre-trip inspections are properly completed
- Manage vehicle fleet, including repair and maintenance logs and documentation
- Works directly with suppliers, customers, and freight carriers to resolve issues, problems, and order discrepancy issues in a professional and timely manner
- Problems resolution with drivers and customers when issues arise
Required Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in Logistics
- Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving
- Personable and strong communication skills
- Strong trouble-shooting skills
- Time-management and prioritization skills
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test
- Valid Driver’s License
Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
