Company Overview:
Our company is a newly established trucking business registered in Los Angeles, USA. We specialize in local drayage services at Los Angeles ports and long-haul 53′ truck transportation from Los Angeles to Canada. We are currently seeking an experienced Manager to oversee company formation, staff recruitment, and equipment procurement.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage company registration, operating licenses, and regulatory compliance.
Recruit drivers, dispatchers, and other key personnel to build an efficient team.
Handle the procurement and management of trucks and trailers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Develop operational procedures, optimize business models, and improve service quality.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients, expanding the business network.
Supervise daily operations, including dispatching, fleet management, and cost control.
Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian transportation regulations, handling legal and insurance matters.
Job Requirements:
Experience in the North American trucking and logistics industry, with expertise in drayage and long-haul trucking.
Proven management experience in the trucking industry; prior success in business operations or startups is a plus.
Familiarity with Los Angeles and U.S.-Canada cross-border transportation regulations, including licensing and compliance.
Strong leadership and communication skills to efficiently manage teams and client relationships.
Financial management and cost-control abilities to optimize operations.
Existing network of truck drivers or customer resources is a plus.
Must have legal work authorization to work in the United States.
