Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trucks and trailers.
Duties
Operate various types of trucks including flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, and roll-off trucks.
Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries as required by law.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport.
Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
Follow all company policies regarding safety and operational procedures.
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Familiarity with route driving and freight handling is essential.
Experience operating refrigerated trailers, tankers, flatbeds, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise during transport.
