Your Role:
As a Truck Operator 1 with Millipore Sigma, you will operate box trucks, tractor trailers, and forklifts to move a combination of chemicals and components between the St. Louis Millipore Sigma facilities and 3PL warehouses. This position is a Monday-Friday day shift, that is strictly local deliveries and pickups. This position is directly responsible for ensuring Millipore Sigma compliance with DOT regulations.
Specific responsibilities include:
Ensure the safe movement of hazardous material
Provide outside customer support
Perform multiple warehouse functions at various sites as needed
Physical Attributes:
Lifting of up to 50 lbs
Who You Are:
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Class A CDL license
1+ years of experience driving a commercial vehicle
1+ years of Forklift operator experience
Preferred Qualifications
Hazmat, EAP and drug and alcohol certification
Class A CDL license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and airbrake restriction lifted
Experience working with SAP and/or SAP Next or any warehouse management system
Knowledge of warehousing and inventory processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team and independently
