We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver/ WH team member. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations.
Responsibilities
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete, and the customer is satisfied.
Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
Accepting payments for delivered items.
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
Perform route driving to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual methods as necessary.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road to ensure a safe driving record.
Communicate effectively with team member regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that may arise during transport.
Attention to detail.
Shrink wrap pallets and properly labeling merchandise prior to shipping.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
Willing to operate a pallet jack & forklift.
Ability to handle freight loading and unloading tasks efficiently.
Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation skills.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items up to 50lbs for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
