SMD Inc. Independent contractor for FedEx Ground is now hiring a Class A Driver. Local runs dispatched from the Charlotte NC terminal. We are looking for team oriented professionals with a strong safety record. Must have a Doubles/Triples endorsement. See complete qualifications and benefits listed below:
Qualifications (Must Have):
Class A CDL
Doubles/Triples Endorsement
1 or more years of current driving experience
Current DOT Medical Card
23 or older
Must Pass Background Screening and Drug Test
Responsibilities
Drop and hook doubles and single trailers
Comply with all FedEx safety policies and procedures
Communicate with the FedEx linehaul office in order to secure runs and transportation management system accuracy
Maintain truck cleanliness
Other responsibilities may be added as needed
