Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service. Depending on route you choose either Monday to Friday and home weekends or work weekends
Responsibilities
Operate and drive commercial tractor-trailers
Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
Adhere to company policies regarding safety procedures and protocols.
Run legal and maintain electronic logs
Requirements
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being driven.
Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of manual or automatic transmission operation.
Familiarity with freight handling procedures and equipment.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
Commitment to safety practices while driving and handling freight.
Flexibility to work monday to Friday or just weekends as needed based on delivery schedule you choose
