M S Transportation and Heavy Haul LLC is a small business in Mansfield, OH. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to add an experienced Class A CDL Driver to our team.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to transport goods and materials over short and long distances. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks and heavy equipment.
**Responsibilities:**
– Safely operate trucks to transport goods to various locations.
– Chain, strap, and tarp freight onto trailer before departing. Upon arrival unchain, unstrap, and untarp freight to be unloaded.
– Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including checking oil, water, and tires
– Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times
– Maintain a clean and organized truck
**Experience:**
– Experience in automotive repair is a plus
– Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently
– Proficiency in operating heavy equipment is a plus
– Familiarity with manual/automatic transmission vehicles
– Previous work as a truck driver is beneficial
– Knowledge of tractor-trailer operations
– Experience in route driving is preferred
