Summary
As a Truck Driver Class A, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods across various locations. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your core skills in commercial driving and truck operation will be essential for efficient deliveries. Your relevant experience with load and unload procedures, as well as familiarity with different truck types, will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Responsibilities
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and adhere to delivery schedules.
Communicate with dispatch and team members regarding route changes and delivery updates.
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
